A map that looks like a treasure map!

The aim of the map was to showcase the town’s dynamism to new residents. All the daily amenities are there: bakery, secondary school, school, medical centre, etc.

Each business/activity has its own instantly recognisable iconography.

The arrow legends and compass rose drawn in pencil reinforce the treasure map style.

Perfect for an inter-communal magazine or website. Or why not on a bus shelter !

All the elements were drawn independently by hand on paper and pencil. I then inked them by hand.
They were then digitised and assembled into the final composition using Photoshop.
